Storlien – borderless skiing

Storlien, located by the Norwegian border west of Åre, is a classic ski destination with a long history, even the Swedish king comes here for a ski vacation. Storlien offers a good mix of slopes for beginners and intermediate skiers, making it a great spot for a ski holiday in Sweden. Not far from Storlien is STF’s mountain station, Storulvån, where you can enjoy ski touring, Nordic skiing and other winter activities, either with a guide or on your own among the mountain peaks.
